"Kinikilig ako. Period." -Nizrhane

Kinikilig ako. Period.

I have had enough of the usual loveteams and sappy love stories on TV. They just keep me more disinterested and very annoyed.

I have my old love for surfing the net, scouring there and there for photos of wonderful musicians, and yes, I have found more than that.

There's this band that I have known to exist in Europe for so long and recently they have just made their US debut last year. And the band's Mew, not the Pokemon (don't worry they didn't name the band after the Pokemon).

Mew's composed of High School friends Jonas Bjerre and Bo Madsen, and a newcomer Silas Utke Graae Jørgensen (well he says that he was the last person to join the band). Johan Wohlert was their former member, having left the band in early 2006 (I am not sure but I am continuing to check stuff) to spend time with girlfriend Pernille. And now from Denmark, they are conquering the world by storm.

That's the band.

and this is the band without Johan. :/

*sigh*

What if they toured here in the Philippines?

Nizrhane blogs: Peer Support

My bestfriend is supporting me by giving me advice over at Y!M.

Dee Panda: so if ever man nagskandalo sila dun
Dee Panda: tignan mo na lang
Dee Panda: at wag kang mag mukang kawawa
Dee Panda: NIZZIE HA
Dee Panda: AYOKO NAGMUMUKA KANG KAWAWA
Dee Panda: t-------------- yan
Dee Panda: dapat kase pag nagkikita kayo
Dee Panda: kasama ako eh
Dee Panda: ngumiti ka na lang
Dee Panda: at wag kang magpaapekto
Dee Panda: magmuka kang sosyal
Dee Panda: TANDAAN MO
Dee Panda: sila iniisip nila showbiz buhay
Dee Panda: hinde
Dee Panda: dapat ikaw hinde
Dee Panda: cheap sila kase super wala silang alam sa buhay
Dee Panda: unlike us AB students

Drew says it right. Di naman talaga showbiz ang buhay. To add that up:

Francoise Esquivel: Life is not all glamour and fame, like the pages of Meg and Candy.

There are just some people who are blinded by the klieg lights and shimmering gowns and glam makeup. It is not right for us to think that society tells us what to do, what to eat, and what to dress up through these good-for-nothing actors and actresses and the media. They're like lab rats who are being experimented.

As for the younger people who think that beautiful is all shimmering gloss, Candy Mag, and boys, I don't what to do with you kids. You seem to be addled with what society dictates you to do.

It all ends with consternation.

"There was nothing to complain about"
-Nizrhane

Hmm. I remember having to trouble m'self with who to evict. It even affected my thinking, sorta.

I was not in good terms with myself when the 3rd Nominations came. Sorta critical, and my conscience kept on rapping at me.

So after too much mental and personal infliction, I decided to drop the card once and for all.

Then I found out that my vote got invalid. At first I thought that I had to conk m'self in the head. I WASN'T READING THE INSTRUCTIONS! *sigh*

There was nothing to complain about, actually.

Nizrhane blogs: Pollux!

This is Pollux, a black cat. Most people think that a black cat is ominous, but for some of us, a black cat means a new beginning.

I saved this cat almost a month ago, and Droo and I scoured around Bangkal to search for a potential owner. Neither of us could keep the precious thing, for our bosses (my guardian and Droo's grandparents) don't like having cats around.

So we went to Christopher's house in Palanan to hand the cat over to him, cos Tophe (yes folks, with an "h") wanted to have a cat to play with. (This photo of Pollux was taken by Tophe and he submitted it to me on Friendster.)

(Anyways, Tophe said that Pol's fave food is milk with breadbits. Hahahahahah! Instant Cereal!)

Droo and I are so happy to have Pol with Tophe (and with us, o'course!). We gave the little fella a new home. =)

DAY FIFTY-FOUR
"There is also a plan for me to leave for London this vacation!" -Nizrhane

Patapos na ang Finals. One more effin test and Second Semester's over.

I am feeling a bit sad about the fact that the sem's about to close. Naging masaya ang Second Semester, for it was filled with challenges and laughter..and tears. Haaay.

Well, I am planning to extend my "psuedo-semester" this summer. Just this morning Keeko, Crystal and I craned our necks over curious, hopeful heads just scan through the Summer Offerings list. Dad had told me once, as I remember, to do advanced stuff. So I had thought of going for Enlish (SPECOM), or maybe World Literature. 9 units max, and I'm off.

I'd really want to continue through summer because there aren't anything much to do this vacation, aside from doing the yearbook (sheeeesh, I feel a bit afraid...) and summer jobs (Drew and the gang had decided to scout for jobs...). There is also a plan for me to leave for London this vacation! (Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!)

In a few days, April na.

"Almost everyone gave me saving points!"
-Nizrhane

Oh well. The stuff at the boards is sorta getting weird. Getting twisted, as I see it. Hahahaha. Yesterday morning, I chanced upon a new thread which says "Final Exam". Hey, I thought. I just had our Finals at the University! There goes another one. So I scan through it and scratched my head. They were difficult, like BBK and the gang could expect me to have my appendix removed, or perform a miracle. (What's worse is that some of the stuff requires a video post on YouTube!)

I have chosen what to do, anyway.

Anyhoo, here comes the good part: Almost everyone gave me saving points!

Yes, my vote got invalid--I wasn't reading the rules. Thanks everyone! =3 hahahahaha!

"Ayoko ng mayabang na talaga ipapamukha pa sa'yo na "Honor student" sya" -Nizrhane

Today's my birthday! 33333 Anyhoo, I already got my midterm grades...sa 18th na ang Fnals namin so...waaaaaaaaaaah! Math: 3.00 (75.2)-- Prof. Lagamayo was the only professor who gave an equivalent sa grade. Ayun. Sheeesh. I don't like Math...or Math bores me...waaaaaaah!

JPL (Jose P. Laurel's Life and Works): 2.25- Hah! 'Twas a good thing I had this grade!

English: 2.50-- Wheeeee! Hooray! 33333 Filipino: 2.25- Shoot.

Science: 2.50 --- Asteeeeg! Biology na nga ito eh! 3333 (Paano pa kaya pag Chemstry? Ayooooko na! Bagsak ako sa Chem dati eh...)

There you have it guys. My Midterms. Erm. Mas masaya ako sa Bio exams namin kasi mas mataas yung score ko kaysa dun sa classmate namin na feeling Honor student. Imbeciles like him should be reduced to oblivion. (LORL.) Ayoko ng mayabang na talaga ipapamukha pa sa'yo na "Honor student" sya noong High School. Eh hullo, College na po, back to square one na.

Ayun.

Nizrhane blogs: Amid the noise, the news, and the ceaseless chit-chatting

Amid the noise, the news, and the ceaseless chit-chatting comes a day that will just come by...and that day's my birthday.

(Like it's a big party, duh.)

My birthday has become an ordinary day when I turned 16. When I turned 17 I just went out with my closest friends to SM MegaMall to ice-skate. (The plus stuff was: I didn't have to pay for the fare going to the mall...Droo's mum drove for us going there!)

That never repeated. When I turned 18 there was s'posed to be a party but Dad was going to leave for London and Jordan that time...so it was great that Dad did attend my graduation. Another plus: my closest friends were there.

From left: Chona, Droo, Bells, Ylva, and Me at my Grad (taken by Dad)

See that? :D After the ceremonies we went to Droo's house in Makati for me to change into my casual attire, then we headed off to Greenbelt 3 to dine out. We ate at Cafe Bola. :D

Anyhoo, going back...right before I turned 18, something happened. My phone got snatched in broad daylight. Nervous laughter...nervous laughter...then poof! I was robbed blind. 6 days later, it was my birthday, then 2 weeks later, Graduation. Shooosh.

But it was okay.

Now that my birthday's on the 16th (this Friday), I am raring to get myself back. I am turning 19 this year. I feel like I am getting old by the minute. (Ngeee...)

"We girls need to be pampered this time"
-Nizrhane

I remembered a message at the back of a shirt Keeko was wearing: "It's Good To Be King!"

...nah. This time: "it's good to be Queen".

Hey, today's Women's Month and it's a blast to be the Boss...er...one of the bosses. I'm with Ate Anne and Ate Steph. They know better.

Anyhoo, we're gonna make the boys work around the house and to see who's better (and way obedient) than the rest.

Masaya talaga di ba? We girls need to be pampered this time, at wala munang mang-aalaska sa'min! =3 Mauvais garçon n'a pas accordé cette fois ! (No bad boys allowed this time!) Pero we are confident that the PBBFG5 boys are good boys! (Awww...and they're sweet too!)

Oo nga pala. My forthcoming birthday will be a good springboard for this. Actually Ate Steph and Ate Anne had already told the boys about this: they will design and arrange stuff for the 16th.

Ate Anne even put up a new thread for the boys: they will need to answer our questions. (How about a good Math prob for them to work on, then they'll soon give up... just kiddin'!)

Some new social subexperiment, eh?

"I have never been this comfortable"
-Nizrhane

You see, it has been quite a long time since I last posted here...and it's a great thing that I've posted something positive here.

I feel good today, now that I get to mingle with my VHs. They're kewl. Having them around is like family, and I have never been this comfortable.

I now feel close with my housemates, most especially with Ate Steph, Zen and Ferg. (Mik and Kuya Al too!) I am also trying to make connections with Kuya Ron and Ate Anne. People here in the Virtual House rock! I also would like to make friends with Xyruz.

Nizrhane blogs: Of Sleeping

Come to think of it, I get this sleepy every other day. I intentionally don't sleep on one night then I sleep early the next. I just find m'self yawning in class...or doodling listlessly...or writing...or chatting with my seatmate. Boredom.

When I try to doze off, I tend to forget what I should I do for the next day. By the time I land on the bed, everything seems to be going away. Like all I wanted to do is to sleep and be comfortable. (Parang pusa, hahahahaha)

But the prob is, my sleep's just "shallow". I could hear noises from the outside, even the tiny noises a mouse makes. Or even a fire truck from far away.

Hoo boy. Sleeeeeeeeeeep.

"This feeling of hatred has found its place within me" -Nizrhane

I'm off to Cavite at 8am to do NSTP. Shoot. I need to save money! Malapit na ang birthday koooooo~!

I commemorate the day a snatcher stole my phone on March 10. The masked culprit did that in broad daylight.

Anyhoo, it's been a year since that happened. And I hope something happened to that masked snatcher.

Speaking of snatchers, I shall say that a similar thing happened to me almost two years ago. This time it happened behind my back. And the culprit was a friend of mine with a "cute face". Darn her, shoot her.

Awww man, if I could just step up to her and grab her by the hair! Masama ang loob ko sa kanya and this feeling of hatred has found its place within me since September 2005. I got used to it since then, since everyone had divided themselves into the stuation, since she started to "glam" herself up for my ex, since I went to a shrink, since I let my guard down.

When I see her face on Friendster, I regard her as a 16-year-old retard with a histrionic personality. What sickens me is that she's all over the net, and in all honesty, I want her out.

She doesn't deserves another chance, with what she did to me. I became so dumb with trusting her.

Nizrhane blogs: NO WAAAAAAAY!

Okay so who said I like eating fish?

Darn, I never preferred eating fish! Any fish that's being eaten, I just can't stand seeing 'em on plates or even tasting them. There are two things why.

Number One: for me, they don't taste good.

Number Two: and I'd rather see them swim freely.

I never liked fish because they taste weird. I remember that as a kid I tend to barf out after eating fish. Mum would yell at me not to do it, and I would yell back that "I hate fish" then I'd sulk. From there, Mum would prepare fish for, telling me that it's chicken. Hah! I could tell if it's fish or chicken! My grudge against eating fish started there. What I don't approve of is eating Picadillo (Tambakol with Gata)...I'd take water and french fries instead.

Yes, I'd rather see them swim freely than being garnished on plates. I told my Dad once that I should advocate "STOP EATING FISH". Then Dad replied, "Anak, they really should be eaten."

Then a smile from Dad.

Awwww man.

Or, ganito na lang: "NO TO OVERFISHING". Yun lang. See, tumataas ang bilihin sa North ng caviar kasi unti-unting nawawala na ang Beluga Sturgeon! Madami na rin ang nagrereklamo dahil the prices are getting higher dito sa Pilipinas.

Oh yes. Here's another one: NO TO WHALING. Kawawa naman ang mga mammalian friends natin underwater! Just recently, Greenpeace had to stop a Japanese whaling vessel in Antartica. The Japanese didn't budge. Ano na naman ang gagawin nila sa whales? Whale oil? Or new-style sashimi?

C'mon.

Nizrhane blogs: Exposure! At School: Politicians *yawn*

I've noticed that since it's campaigning period, everything is going nuts. Everything is shiny. Some days back, Migz Zubiri went to our university to be the inspirational speaker for the Legal Studies seminar. Then yesterday evening, Noynoy Aquino was there watching Mr. and Ms. Lyceum!

(Okay, is there any subliminal message to it?)

It would be okay if they dropped by to remind everyone to VOTE WISELY. Zubiri's visit was just good, at least he made us think about the environment. (Or so we think...) It's also a good thing that there are politicians like him who backs up the environment. <3333 Anyhoo, as for Noynoy...I don't remember anything that he backed up, aside his younger sister Kris...oh yeah, he's the governor of Tarlac! Maybe he did well in their province. I don't know.

Exposures. Pshaw.

Nizrhane blogs: Sex. And The Dean.

I found myself watching the news last night. My eyes were fixed onto the tube when a report about a Dean who was arrested for having sex with a Nursing student. I just don't understand it. Or maybe I just couldn't take it. I've heard cases about students having sex with their College professors in exchange for higher grades---that idea just popped out,I just couldn't brush it off. Or maybe the Dean wanted it; he wanted his wanton desires to be consummated.

As the Dean was asked for his comments, he looked very defiant in a way that makes one think that nothing happened, that nothing indecent really happened. As for the student, I would like to hear her side of the story. Why was she involved in it? :(

I feel bad over it.

"I'm turning 19 na..." -Nizrhane

Update. Yes, an update.

Finals na sa March 21. -----> I'mma faint. Hey, imagine all bigwig subjects (Business Math, English, Biology, Filipino) in ONE day?!? (At Sunday pa yun ah.)

Heapin' projects (up for grabs!...sa mga gustong tumulong, joke) -----> Filipino (Panitikan and Thesis), English (Short Story Analysis and Journal-Diary), NSTP (12-hour Community Service in Cavite---complete with docu and stuff)...hoo boy! Ubos na naman ang allowance kooooo~!

Birthday ko. Medyo di talaga importante, kasi...wala naman ang Dad ko dito sa Pilipinas. I only have my friends with me, which is kewl, but kulang. Ang dami na ang naghahanap ng blowout...ngok. But who cares anyway...birthday ko. I'm turning 19 na...just another ordinary day. (Unless Droo and the folks will put up some fun---say, an ice-skating spree. Oks na yun!)

Yun muna. Full-blown sked yan ha?

DAY THIRTY
Nizrhane blogs: Yes, all things are "possible"

This is it. Globe has gotten so insane. They've been eating up our credits! Globe has reaten my credits up for the third time last night and I have to say this: GLOBE SUCKS BIG TIME! What are they trying to reason out, that they're matching other people's lifestyles? Doggone it. Sayang lang. My family has been so loyal to you guys eversince you started. I think your slogan/catchphrase says it all.

I am getting sick of calling up your hotline and complaining again and again. :(

Nizrhane blogs: Let them eat cake!

"S’ils n’ont plus de pain, qu'ils mangent de la brioche."

That's French for "If they have no bread, let them eat cake!"

If you guys are familiar with this quote, then you've probably chanced upon Maria Antonia Josefa Johanna von Habsburg-Lothringen, or simply the ill-fated Marie-Antoinette.

So...it is sorta obvious that I am currently hooked on reading stuff about her, for she is very interesting and that many people misunderstood her. People regard her as an extravagant queen who spends money like mad, and that she was found mingling with men...you know what I mean.

For me, I see her as a normal girl. Just that. Hey, how does it really feel to be married off to a fat, shy Dauphin at a young age, and to be sent off to a faraway land called France? Possibly what her detractors called her attitude as "unbecoming" is a manifestation of her homesickness and boredom.

What puzzles me is that she was accused of being a lesbian! Hey, erm, this issue is just like Abraham Lincoln being labeled as "gay" for he addressed "Yours forever" to a good friend. Showing devotion, care, and love isn't gay, but if you are very promiscuous then you gotta do something to fix it.

The quote at the beginning of this entry is claimed to be a joke that Marie-Antoinette told...or so it was.

Nizrhane blogs: Of Harlequin Girls and...

This entry is considered as the 2nd part of my other journal entry. Forgive the title, though.

Harlequin girl. It is defined as a "girl who has a knack for being vain in an excessive way". You know, high-maintenance.

It also suggests promiscuity and being very malandi. Hmmm. I am currently commenting on girls (particualrly a girl whom I've known since Junior High School) who are such, for they a) are much of an eyesore, b) they annoy me and everyone else, and c) they display histrionic behaviour so much that people think they serve no purpose.

Yeah, I do respect those who get glammed up in the right way, but if at some point, it gets out of hand...then that's another story. Being glamourous is putting yourself well in all the right moves, but society suggests that being glamourous is for the high-society, high-fashion people who are filthy rich and whose excesses are surpassing normal standards.

Also, those who just can't shut up. Yes, I have classmates and people around me in school and in our circle who are way too talkative, spitting expletives and blabbering nonstop about senseless things. If your talkative nature is but a manifestation of a psychological issue, I understand that, but if you are trying to impress...hmmm...but you need a reality check. I'd recommend your mouth be clamped shut.

I am not angry. I never got angry. I just get even. I am tired of the same old buzz about me and my friends.
